Ukrainian socio-political processes are of best manifestations of fundamentals of our lives. Our European partners cannot understand our internal processes due to the fact, that during quarter of the century of our independence we failed to overcome the remnants of the Soviet past, which very quickly turned into a complex, one-of-a-kind oligarco-kleptocratic mechanism. Exactly this system led to the worst socio-political crisis, war in Donbass, Annexation of Crimea and degradation of society in general. Distracting society with the surface manifestations of the crisis, Ukrainian politicians continue to harm their citizens.
For a liberal democracy this illusions of reforms, quasi-legality and the cynicism with which modern “pro-European” politicians encourage corruption and destruction, typical for regimes of Kuchma and Yanukovich, are unacceptable signs of neglect toward society. There is the only way out. We, the young generation, should destroy the old oligarco-kleptocratic system, since we believe that the Rule of Law and compliance to the law, which derives from it, are sacred and fundamental.
The Department of Internal Affairs is a structural element of our public organization, which mission is to follow all socio-political affairs in Ukraine, to cooperate with other Ukrainian public organizations, to implement volunteer-based programs and to promote liberal patriotism.
Among the Department’s interests are Ukrainian policies, including policies concerning Crimea and other temporarily occupied territories of Lugansk and Donetsk regions, economic and political affairs, struggles against corruption in public authorities and local government bodies.
