On March 28, 2026, the Democratic Resilience Roundtable took place in the Taiwanese parliament. The event was co-organized by the team of the Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine (LDLU), the office of Legislator Kuan Ting-chen (DPP), the Taiwan NextGen Foundation, and the Taiwan office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF).

During the event, a Ukrainian expert delegation, EU specialists, and representatives of Taiwan's government, business, and civil society discussed ways to respond to new security challenges arising from the strategic symbiosis of the PRC and the Russian Federation. The discussion was grounded in Ukraine's experience in implementing information security and drone innovations.

The main conclusion of the discussion was that true democratic resilience is built long before an open crisis begins. Ukrainian resistance proves that national security, countering cognitive warfare, and protecting infrastructure are the shared responsibilities of the state, technological industries, and every citizen.

The LDLU team will continue to facilitate the dissemination of Ukraine's best security practices to strengthen exchanges with our country's key democratic partners.
