On June 5-7, 2026, the second module of the Young Changemakers Academy 2026 program took place in Budapest. It was organized by the European Liberal Forum (ELF) with the support of LYMEC and a number of local institutions, including the Indítsuk Be Magyarországot Foundation.
This time, 8 young liberal leaders from various European countries joined the event. The Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine (LDLU) was consistently represented by Hanna Tkachenko, Head of the Department of Liberal Democracy.
The first day of the event began with opening remarks from the ELF representative, Ukrainian Violetta Pashutina, and the Secretary General of LYMEC, Even Diot. Afterward, the former Deputy Mayor of Budapest, Gábor Kerpel-Fronius, delivered a lecture dedicated to grassroots activism, the creation of mass movements, and the practical experience of the Momentum party.
The program of the second day was comprehensively focused on intensive practical training and the development of advocacy skills.
The continuous participation of the LDLU representative in the Young Changemakers Academy is an important stage in strengthening the organization's international relations, as well as in preparing effective solutions in the field of public policy, fundraising, and European advocacy.
