The Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine participated in the LYMEC Autumn Congress, held on 14–16 November in Bratislava (Slovakia).

The organization was represented by Secretary General Anastasiia Zaiets and activists Sofiia-Mariia Prokopiv and Taras Sachenko.

During the Congress, the delegation took part in discussions on key challenges facing the European liberal community. The central topics included Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, strengthening information resilience, and the role of youth in defending democratic values.

In total, 15 resolutions were adopted — including those on the threat posed by Russian drones to Europe, the presence of the Russian Federation in the Arctic, the seizure of Russian assets in the EU with their subsequent transfer to Ukraine, and the future of European collective security.

Additionally, the delegates held a number of working meetings and exchanged experience with European liberal youth organizations, which will further strengthen LDLU’s project activities.

LDLU will continue to consistently represent the position of Ukrainian youth at the European level and contribute to the strengthening of liberal democracy in Ukraine.

We thank the organizers for the opportunity and for their steadfast support of Ukraine!
