On September 21, 2026, the team of the Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine held an introductory meeting with the delegation of European Youth Denmark (JEF Denmark) in Lviv. The purpose of their visit is to familiarize Danish youth with Ukraine's European integration processes and the functioning of civil society amid ongoing Russian aggression.
During the meeting, Secretary General Anastasiia Zaiets and activist Nadiia Varzhel delivered a presentation on the activities of the LDLU. They discussed the organization's journey since 2015, its work at the national level, and the development of a global network of partnerships in the Euro-Atlantic and the Indo-Pacific.
A separate segment of the discussion focused on the personal dimension of activism. The LDLU representatives shared their own experiences in international advocacy, specifically the results of their work in Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Norway. They also explained the benefits that membership in the organization offers to youth and what the daily operations of an independent political institution look like during a full-scale war.
Additionally, the LDLU representatives shed light on the specifics of Ukraine's domestic political landscape against the backdrop of current security and institutional challenges.
At the end of the evening, a thematic pub quiz on the history of Ukraine was held for the participants to consolidate the acquired knowledge in an interactive format.
